Fun Spots in Dorchester and Beyond
Some of my favorite places to enjoy in Dorchester are the many parks with bike paths and walking paths throughout the Dorchester neighborhoods. Here are just a few of to check out yourself:
- One of my very first discoveries since working as a Realtor. The walking path runs from the Central ave in Milton down toward the Lower Mills buildings, then past the new Milton Landing building, behind Cedar Grove down to the Lower Neponset River, then to Pope John Paul II Park and finishing up down by the famous Keystone apartments. Check out http://www.mass.info/boston.ma/parks/pope_john_paul_ii_park_reservation.htm or http://www.mass.info/boston.ma/parks/neponset_river_reservation.htm or http://www.mass.info/boston.ma/parks/lower_neponset_river_trail.htm
- Or you can't beat living on Malibu Beach in Savin Hill if you enjoy beaches but there is also Tenean Beach tucked next to the expressway.
- One of the best wesbites is: http://www.bostonharborwalk.com/ to find out more about the many hidden costal jems of of Dorchester and all of Boston (just don't tell too many people about them)
Have fun exploring!
